Uses of SEO Keywords

One of the ways to get targeted traffic is to position your website high in the search engines for the keyword you are targeting. Some of the keyword word tools provided an abundance of valuable information, while others just provided related keywords and terms. Additionally, some provided free limited access and others were completely free. SEO tags are the ones who can make your web site rankings high or lay your web site in the last ranks of any search engine results page.

In addition to keywords tags, your title tags, your description tags, heading tags, and of course your content itself is extremely important. The person who types in 'wine supplies' might be, for example, a cashed up person who wants to set up a wine cellar downstairs, so they're looking for wine supplies to fit out their wine cellar. For example, if you are running a dog training site, some keywords you may come up with would be, 'How to train a dog' or 'dog training tips'

The problem with avoiding keyword competition is keyword relevance. You want relevance. If you're a very local bakery in New York, a keyword of "plumber" puts you in competition with every plumber in the internet world. Instead, maybe it's better to select a keyword like "New York Plumber". It makes no sense to mislead others, especially since you know they will catch on. Using irrelevant keywords to confuse others is not only a crude tactic; it is an outright lie. These words can be accessed by clicking on the content located at the top of the page. Then you must drag your mouse over to the lower section of the page to highlight the content in between. Source codes will also reveal hidden keywords.

You want to avoid the older practices of keyword stuffing, but build article content with richer vocabulary and keywords. This is one of the more important and current On-Page SEO method today.

Don't overload your articles making them too SEO keyword heavy, or the search engines will cast a suspicious eye and pass right over your site. When you set and design you website, the use of keyword tags should be placed in the header, the links pointing to the page, visible text, as well as links that link to inner pages of your website Article submission sites should consider this and perhaps implement such a system.

Each page must have a unique content and it should be informative and useful for your visitors and customers. As I mentioned earlier, you must have separate keyword phrases for each page. BUT and this is the big but, you're missing out on a slew of untapped keywords as well as words that are more popular via mobile search. A keyword can also be few words or a specific phrase. You can be descriptive of what you are selling on your website - these are long-tail keywords.

The good thing is that the keyword wasn't overused. In the succeeding example, you will notice that the main keyword is used excessively, and does not properly flow well, making the paragraph difficult to read:

Use to SEO Keywords and Blogs

Many people spend a lot of money on pay per click advertising because they cannot seem to get their websites listed on search engines such as Google and Yahoo. There are several free tools to do keyword research. Google offers many tools along with yahoo and word tracker. I usually look for words that get at least 100 searches a day and have less than 30,000 pages of competition. This is absolutely essential and should never be glossed over. A well written article can help other people to learn more about your subject, but can also provide a link to other pages on your website that can provide further information to anybody that requires it.

A well written article can help other people to learn more about your subject, but can also provide a link to other pages on your website that can provide further information to anybody that requires it.

These keyword tools can give a rough idea of the total traffic for any keyword. But they will not tell you how those keywords actually perform & how they will be impact your bottom line. That way they're more likely to buy what you're selling, or sign up for a newsletter, or whatever else you want them to do.

Try to keep the amount of words in between the keywords as close to the same number as possible. For example, if the keywords are every 110 words from the others, try to keep them at that distance throughout the entire article(s). Picking one single keyword is going to make it a lot easier for you to focus on getting your website to front page of search engines.

You can also ad a signature also. Other users can then view your profile and send you a private message if they wish. They basically are scripts that keep information on the items that a customer has picked to purchase from your site. E-commerce has helped many businesses in Winnipeg area of Canada, in the same way that it has helped millions of businesses world over!

If you make a search with a generic keyword such as "Health Insurance", you will find that there are many searches, but the search engine returns also millions of results, If you search for a specific Health Insurance company in a given area, you will get a much lower number of results.

This is pretty powerful stuff, considering the value of such sites. With blogs you can add posts as often as you like. Obviously, the more you post, the better for the site, but you can find your own friendly medium and watch the site grow. If you have a tight budget and you can not afford to out-source the job to experts, find e-books about (S.E.O) search engine optimization, read articles like this one.

but remember that there are other ways to generate traffic to your web site, while creating a quality web site you can be proud of using The "Free Click Formula" found in Google Snatch.

Write Quality Content - A Good Deal

A content writer can get inspiration from various sources but he should not copy and paste other ideas. If the originality of content is left unchecked, it can have a disastrous consequence in the coming years. Apart from legal complications, it can tarnish the reputation of an organization. This is the reason why the originality of content should get utmost attention.

Although writing for the web is informal and even casual at times, it should not be sloppy. Neglecting quality in a presentation invites criticism and distracts the visitor, just as misspelled names or words do in newspapers or business letters. Readers will likely leave your site once more than one error is noticed, never to return in favor of more professionally written Web content. The same is true with virtually every type of advertising and marketing vehicle placed in the hands of a potential customer.

If you don't have to publish it immediately, wait few hours or days and then reread article. Just think about what would you like to provide to your readers. And ask yourself if you would like to read your own content if you were visitor. Think about how you want your articles to affect readers and adjust to that. If you still think article is decent, go ahead and publish it.

It is critical that you learn how to write an article with good content. Even if you are writing articles just to get traffic, they need to still have content that people want to read. You must focus your writing on the content and afterwards concern yourself with adding in your target keywords where they fit into the article. You must on no account write an article with merely keywords in mind.

Most importantly, you must produce reader-friendly content. Your writing style should be lucid enough to draw the attention of readers. Don't try to feed the search engine first, but you must put your best effort to make it human readable unique content. A reader-friendly content can significantly increase conversion rate.

One of the components of the writing process is the mental capacity of an individual. We can never deny the fact that the words we plan to put into paper start in our thoughts; and it is our creativity that will determine the style through which we transform words into something that readers will understand and enjoy.

Shorter paragraphs make reading your content much easier - since, as above, visitors scan read your content, keeping your paragraphs short (perhaps to 2-4 lines each) will break up your content. This will improve the chances of your visitors reading your content since a lot of short paragraphs are more accessible to read than a couple of longer paragraphs.

SEO Marketing Company - Tools and Tricks

Search engine optimisation is not an overnight job. It is a highly specialised and time consuming task. It may take months to get the desired results.

The search engines can't yet crawl online videos as they do online content. No matter how many times you repeat the keywords and phrases of your choice in a video, it's not going to make an ounce of difference when it comes to how the search engines prioritize them. Still, there are ways to enhance a video's presence with the search engines - and a well-executed VSEO marketing strategy can make it happen.

SEO services is a broad term and includes various marketing and promotion tools. Broadly speaking when we talk of search engine optimization we include web promotional methods like pay per click, social media optimization, SEO copywriting, SEO consultancy, link popularity building, search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, etc.

A search engine marketing company can clean up messy code, if needed. Beyond that, an SEO Company can then check your sites architecture: the layout of the site. In order for your site to rank highly, a search engine marketing company can streamline it and make sure that it is user-friendly and easily read by the desired search engines.

It is a great idea to know what tools or software they use to get keywords. If the SEO services company asks you for a list of keywords instead and doesn't help you look for keywords using a mix of keyword tools, hiring this company is a bad idea. The right SEO company should provide you with "strong keywords", which are the top searches, to help you optimize your website content.

Potential customers have to know that there are no guarrantees in SEO. Since everything is fundamentally based on search engines, SEO work is at the mercy of major search engines like Google. Many SEO companies tried to secure customers with guarrantees that they cannot fulfil, resulting in lawsuits or customers getting burned for hiring their SEO services.

Although search engines issue broad guidelines, no one can say with certainty exactly how search engines rank websites. A professional SEO company has a good understanding of search engine behavior and experience in successfully achieving top ranking websites to advise you about the competition, ingredients, mechanisms and strategies that can be employed to make your website visible, frequently visited and a revenue generator.

Page Rank and Link Popularity – Differentiating It

PageRank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. PageRank is Google’s way of deciding a page’s importance. It matters because it is one of the factors that determines a page’s ranking in the search results. PageRank is irrelevant now. It doesn’t affect search engine results.

When a new page comes into being in this link structure, it will only get a PageRank value once other pages link to it. Each link will give some PageRank to the new page, the amount a single link gives depending mostly on two things: the PageRank of the linking page, and the number of links on it. The more outbound links a page has, the less weight each of them will have. The actual algorithm used by Google is, naturally, more complicated then this. That algorithm also takes into account page topics. Pages with the same.

Google is known for quickly indexing forums and blogs. Literally the fastest way to gain a good back link is to simply post a link to your site on a forum or a blog. Most forums consider outright linking to be spam, so you’ll have to make sure you do this in the right way. Try joining forums relevant to your site’s topic and put a link to your site in your signature, if it’s allowed. Also, put a link to your site in your profile. Then post 1-10 times. Your posts should contribute something to the forum so that they are not edited or, worse, removed.

It is almost impossible to get a link from an extremely traffic web site, if your site cannot compete with the site you wish to exchange links with. Google considers a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.”

Article marketing accomplishes other things as well, which may be a bit more important in ecommerce today. First of all, writing and distributing articles establishes you as an expert in the field, or topic in question. Secondly, they can serve as building blocks of trust amongst the readers of your articles.
Most successful Internet companies usually distribute at least one article per week to a number of different article banks. Some businesses will distribute the same article that they used in their newsletter, but only after the letters have gone out to subscribers.

All of the major search engines’ algorithms do assess link popularity in one way or another. The two main types of links that seem best to boost your link popularity are links form relevant categories in big Internet directories and links from similar sites to your own that are focused on the same keyword phrases that your site is. These sites are considered to be high quality sites.

What is Link Farming ?

A web directory could be likened to the traditional yellow phone book directory. With a web directory, you have a bunch of websites that are placed in various categories. Link farms are the exact opposite. They tend to have a bunch of links on a page that don't have any descriptions. If you use the Internet frequently, it is likely that you've come across these websites.

It is assumed that Google is penalizing them for having paid links. In my opinion many directories exist for only one reason and that is to farm links. Link farms were appearing higher in the Google rankings and in many cases were just a waste of time and effort. Directories that are created purely to sell links or get rankings are not worth joining. Links back to your website are important but here's the thing, having links from paid directories with no ties to your business are a waste of time.

Link Farming is a term, used as collective reference for methods used to get inbound links to your website and its inner pages. Lets take a look at basic link farming techniques one at a time, each of the method has to done in a peculiar way, to bring out maximum results. But, unfortunately due to lack of space here, we will be discussing them only in general only because I can possibly write tons of pages about each of them.

"Link Farms" and FFA sites served no purpose to web users. Since Google prides itself on catering to web users (and NOT developers), a solution had to be formed. "Link Farms" were cluttering up the web and making it more difficult for users to find valuable resources online. Google soon began to rate the quality of the links that determined a site's "link pop." "Link Farms" and FFA sites became categorized as spam, and thus contributed no value to a site's link popularity.

When link farms came into the picture, the quality of search results started to suffer. Websites that had little or no relevance to the term searched for by the users started to gain top positions in search engines, courtesy these illegitimate SEO techniques. So, search engine developers went back to the drawing board and modified their search algorithms. Link farming is now considered to be spam and any website that participates or joins a link farm is banned for three years from leading search engines.

Search engines that have too many link farm pages may annoy the users. They can be great for the people that are using them until the search engine bans them altogether. For a short time, these links can boost promotion by a decent margin and this may be why larger companies have chose to use them. However, if you do not want to take the chance of having your website banned altogether, it is wise to steer clear of all these types of links in general.

Link farms were the poor man's solution to the hefty priced, high value links typical of high PR webpages. The premise of the link farm was as follows: instead of paying an outrageous sum of money for one link from a high page rank website why not pay a small fee for thousands of low PR links? In essence the link farms abided along the principle of the sum amounting to greater than its individual parts!

Google Buzz – How it Affect SEO?

Buzz is an all encompassing online social service, which aggregates data from your various other online social identities and accounts, very much like what Google Reader does for the blogs you follow. It also adds its own layer of sharing and status updates into the mix to try to make one easy social media package. It has a head start on easy, because it's already embedded by default in your GMail account menu, allowing you to connect with the contacts you've been chatting with and exchanging emails with.

The major difference (and advantage) Buzz has over the existent social networks is that it is integrated into your Gmail account. Google is in all ways the dominating Search Engine - a huge monopoly, huge profits to link products to attractive packages and important products to give away for free. Buzz is already linked to Gmail and Google says that public Buzz will be indexed on Google search engines (have a look at the launch video). Google is also indexing Twitter posts; all of this encourages an SEO to see Buzz as a powerful tool.

How does Google Buzz work? Basically, once configured a colorful icon appears under your Inbox link in GMail. Clicking through takes you to a feed of posts by the people you follow, with a status box above for you to post news, links, etc. Clicking on the Connected Sites option allows you to integrate your Twitter, Picasa, and other select accounts into Buzz, so every time you tweet or post a photo it shows in your feed.

Google Buzz will also allow webmasters to interact with site visitors in a way that Twitter can not; visitors can comments your post in a Facebook-style conversation. Imagine having links to your website from a PR10 website. Now that is possible with Google profile. After sign in to Google Buzz, create your public profile and add link to your site. As in any social network, you will need to constantly create and post interesting stories, photos, and videos to increase your influence in the social network.

Linking to posts through Buzz . Each Buzz post has a permalink so you can link to it easily. For example; if you want to link to a post you liked on buzz, you can simply hyperlink from your page. To update your Buzz status you just need to mail your update from your account. Remember to write the update in the 'subject' and not the 'body' of the e-mail. You can also attach files (like in regular e-mails) to update your buzz account.

Google buzz has an auto suggest feature where it will spring up the list of people you have contacted the most. Adhering to people's needs to be choosy about their selection of friends/followers, Google has responded almost instantaneously by changing the 'auto follow' option to an 'auto suggest' feature.

Google Buzz lets you share images, data from Twitter, Google Reader, or any total or partial content of the web, among others. It automatically integrates the Gmail inbox, so more than a new environment that we could talk Gmail Buzz goes beyond the normal email, as has been pointed out literally in the presentation.

Blog Promotion – A way to Generate Traffic

For your blog to generate enough traffic that will enable you to make money online, you need to learn some fundamental elements of blog promotion. Commenting on other blog is one of them. In addition, reply to comments and questions that have been posted on your blog. This creates an atmosphere for interaction and exchange of blogging ideas. It also drives up artificially, the real number of readers who contribute to your blogs.

Try Video Marketing

This might not be for everybody but if you've already made a video on YouTube in the past you might try this approach: Make a video in which you sit in front of a camera and talk about a post you made on your blog. Add your link to the info box that appears to the right of your video and mention your blog's URL at the end of the video to reach more viewers - and hopefully prospective readers.

New posts make a good impression of the blog being active. Comments for the posts also gives a favorable image of the blog being interesting and worth while. Inbound linking has two advantages - generating traffic from other blogs and increasing your search engine ranking. When you place your blog URL on already popular blogs the likelihood of those visitors coming in to peep at yours is high too.

Social Book Marking Buttons: Give various options to your visitors to book mark your blog easily. These buttons are also helpful in viral marketing. Like if someone book mark your blog on del.icio.us and then share it with his/her network, then your content will automatically get publicized without any effort. You should participate in forums relevant to your niche, but take care of the guidelines. Genuine participation can help you get the traffic so don't try to spam, Otherwise, you will loose your credibility.

Compliment a blog writer if you enjoyed his or her article it will go a long way towards establishing a new relationship. Be sincere in wanting to network with other bloggers dont go at it with a bad attitude. Bloggers come in many shapes and sizes it is a mosh pit of ranters and professionals with many in betweens. You need to juggle all the different types of bloggers out there in the blog world to achieve networking greatness.

Blog marketing is quite easy to get started in. If you all ready have been blogging, you will more than likely pick it up very easily and naturally just as if you have been doing it all along. Also, if you all ready blog, you might find out that you have been marketing the whole time anyways, and just not realizing it. For anyone that has never blogged before, you will of course want to start a test blog just to get the feel of how it is.

A set of homework need to be performed and this is one of the essential blog post tips to better your blogging prospects. An extensive research in regards to the keywords must be undertaken and then implemented in a strategic manner, preferably by simple utilization of the application of search engine optimization i.e. SEO.

Search Engine Spiders

When a search engine robot visits your Web page, it is important to understand a few things if you are hoping to get your Web page indexed. Search Engine Robots are simply software programs that come out to your Web page, capture certain data and then return that data to the search engine from where it came. A search engine robot does not see a world of pages or a world of Web sites. A search engine sees the its world made up only of URLs or (Uniform Resource Locators.)

Spiders enter and leave websites through links, which act as portals throughout the net. That's why it's important to have lots of incoming links to your website to encourage spider activity. If you provide lots of new content for spiders to feed on, they will remember to visit your site more frequently. Spiders only see text on the web pages, therefore pictures and Flash programmes are invisible to them. You can add alt tags to your pictures which are written descriptions behind them, enabling spiders to understand your images.

The spider visits one web page from the left to the right, so we recommender you to put your important keywords in the left side and leave the navigation menu to the right if it is very long. Generally, a web developer will put the navigation bar on the header of page, it's OK, but try to put some important keywords or one paragraph just after the navigation bar, because the spider regards this place as the most important part of the page.

You should ensure that a visitor to your site is able to access all the important web pages in 3 clicks or less. Remember that search engine spiders often don't take deep links into consideration. So, be careful not to bury your important web pages or else they will not be given due importance by the search engine spiders. Many experts believe that it works the best when your significant web pages are located just one or two levels deep.

The search engine spider/crawler then goes to the top left column and works down it, then the next column and so on. It regards anything in H1 tags as being important, so the first text it should come across should be the headline, which should be the keyword, of the webpage in H1 tags and in bold and capital text. There are many other SEO tips but these are the main four. It will find the navigation column after the man text column. This is very important for the search engine spider.

Their primary purpose at one time was to make a list of all the web pages that could be found on the web, using the word 'web' in the true sense of the word, as URLs that can be resolved by search engines, as opposed to the internet, which is the railroad track that these sites use to communicate and connect with each other. Most people involved in internet marketing have a rough idea what spiders do in relation to search engines like Google, so before we get at all technical, let's have a look at what spiders can and cannot do.

Index Page of Your Website

When someone goes to your site by typing in your URL, the index file is what they normally see first.  This prevents viewing other pages or files you may have in the root directory.  What your visitor actually sees in this case is your home page. The other directories (sub-folders) on your website, the ones below your root directory, which is typically called "public", or "public_html", do not normally have this index file.

The first method is a simple search with the "site:" operator. This way we can check any domain or page to see if it is included in the search engine's index. The advantage of this method is that we can actually see which pages are included. It is also pretty simple to count all indexed pages, unless the number is not very high. On each page with results Google displays an estimation of the total number of pages that match the search criteria.

Surely it is not the same to getting a permanent index page links. But hey, there is nothing permanent in this world today, even weather changes. However if you do link building reasonably your link building speed is not very quick (otherwise Google can raise red flag on your site and Matt Cutts from Google *leaked* info about it). So with moderate link building speed the link of recently added link partner will stay on your site for 7-10 days.

Your index page - your "splash" page - is your first, and best, chance to convince your visitor to act. The good news is that there is no real size limit to the page - that's one reason you see some very long index pages. Second, your index page is your first opportunity to truly qualify your traffic. If they won't qualify right away, it just means more work and a lower yield to try to get them to act later.

Robots.txt is a simple text file that tells the search engine robots not to crawl certain directories and pages of your site. When a robot crawls your site it looks for the robots.txt file. If it doesn't find one it assumes automatically that it may crawl and index the entire site. Not having a robots.txt file can also create unnecessary 404 errors (page not found error) in your server logs, making it more difficult to track the real 404 errors.

Google set up a crawler-type software, named Googlebot. It is a robot indexing Web pages (and now other types). Its principle is simple (but not its implementation!): when it reads a page, it adds to its list of pages to visit all those linked to the page in the current process. Theoretically, it should thus be able to know the majority of the pages of the Web, i.e. all those which are not orphan (a page is known as orphan if no other links to it).

Figuring out the number of pages that have received at least one visit as a result of Google searches is one of the most important parts of tracking over time, how well the search engine is indexing your site. If you keep track of numbers, checking it once a month or so, you'll get a better idea of how well your pages are doing in terms of attracting traffic.
